Where did you get the idea that they're replacing it with faceit AC?

Allegedly they "removed VAC" but from what I'm reading they probably just renamed it to something else.

But yes if they replaced it with FACEIT AC iniuria wouldn't work anymore, same with every other cheat made to bypass VAC. I doubt FACEIT would sell them their anticheat tho.

whoever pushed the updated on 17.10.24 has failed or wanted to troll cause it got simply re-added with the latest update pushed on 23.10.24 just written differently.

you all very scared people forget a major thing.
valve has earned and is earning much money with/through cheaters.
this guy has no skins and is hitting sick shots. he has to be a cheater
cheaters buying skins to counter this (no matter if there config and playstyle are shit)
there are more examples which have grown in the community.

since the indroduction of skins, there are banned accounts with much value.

it makes no sense to deploy a strict anti cheat as FC AC because the majority hasnt the contacts and or the money to get his hands on dma setup and a solid cheat for that. so there would be the biggest ban wave and after that the majority would simply play clean.
onetime shopping skins and ranking up the account. thats it.

so get you shit together and dont literally jump out of the window because of something like that.
